Say Thank You

Say Thank you

Say Thank You

I think if we realized just how powerful the words “Thank you” really are, we would use them more often.  I don’t necessarily mean in the check out line or when the waiter brings you your food – though we should be using our manners there too.

I’m talking about taking time to say Thank you to those people who have made an impact in your life.  Maybe you’ve thought about it but just haven’t acted on it.  Maybe your waiting for the right time or when it’s more convenient.  Unfortunately, the longer I live the more I realize that the “right time” and “convenient” are  not things that happen very often – meaning that a whole lot of good words go unspoken.

So today I challenge you to be intentional about saying Thank You to at least one person.  Maybe write a note or a letter to them, make a phone call or take them out for coffee.  Your words may just be the difference they need in their day.
